HOUSTON, TX (AUGUST 1,2014) The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Greater Houston Chapter honored Cherry Demolition the highest award—Diamond level—for the Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) program at their membership breakfast on July 11, 2014 in Houston, Texas.
Jay Marak, Vice President of Safety Operations, was present at the annual breakfast to receive the award on Cherry Demolition’s behalf, marking the second year in a row that Cherry has garnered the Diamond award. “We’re always working to improve our safety program’s effectiveness.” says Marak, “It was an honor to receive the Diamond level award again this year and be recognized as one of the best in our industry”.

ABC represents all specialties with the U.S. construction industry and is comprised primarily of firms who work in industrial and commercial sectors. The organization’s goal is to help its members advance safety and training efforts to achieve a zero-incident workplace.
