Cherry, the Houston-based demolition and recycling company, has announced that Jay Marak, its safety director, has been invited to become a member of Zurich North American Construction Roundtable.
Zurich, a provider of commercial general liability insurance, selects
individuals considered to be safety leaders within the construction
industry for participation in the roundtable. The group, which currently
consists of 35 invitees, addresses construction industry safety issues and produces white papers on solutions and recommendations that are shared within the construction industry.
Cherry serves the Gulf Coast with demolition and recycling services, which includes the recycling of more than one million tons of concrete and asphalt and about 40,000 tons of steel each year.
